How to Use This Platform
A step-by-step guide to completing a brand identity audit with the BW Studio Brand Bible.
9-Phase Gated Workflow
The Brand Bible follows a structured gated process. Each phase builds on the previous one, with Gate sign-offs ensuring quality before progression. Complete each tab in order, filling in scores, evidence, and notes as you go.
1. Discovery & Setup
Fill in company name, industry, objectives, competitors, and project scope. Set the project status.
Upload or log all brand assets (PDFs, logos, images, videos). Use the file upload to attach existing CI documents.
2. Extraction & Analysis
Score each visual element (colours, typography, photography, iconography) with value + approval status.
Assess voice, tone, and messaging. Use the tone sliders (1–5) to plot the brand's personality spectrum.
Evaluate each channel (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.) — score, frequency, notes.
Apply Shneiderman's 8 Golden Rules to the brand's digital experience.
Sign off that Extraction is complete before moving to Synthesis.
3. Synthesis & Strategy
Define brand purpose, vision, mission, values, and positioning statement.
Wheeler's 8-point checklist — mark each criterion as met/partial/not met with evidence.
Sign off Synthesis A.
Define the brand structure (Branded house / House of brands / Endorsed / Hybrid).
Audit across Social Justice, Sustainability (28 items), and AI Policy sections.
8-element crisis communications checklist — assign owners and evidence.
Build a punch-list of gaps: severity, owner, due date, and status tracking.
Decide: Refresh / Refine / Rebuild / Rename — document the business case.
Sign off Synthesis B.
4. Delivery
Compile the 21-section Corporate Identity document. Fill each section, then export as a branded PDF.

- Use the Changelog tab to track who changed what and when — full audit trail.
- The Dashboard shows overall CI Readiness as a weighted score across all metrics.
- The Brand Repository tab gives you a read-only overview of everything entered.
- PDF export from CI Summary produces a client-ready deliverable.
